BudgetMe Pro should work for everyone who needs to plan their money, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, zoom or larger text. This statement covers the app at app.budgetme.pro, the downloadable copy of the app and this website.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA — the internationally recognised standard for accessible websites and apps.

What we’ve done

• Every screen, tab and panel of the app, and every page of this site, is checked with automated accessibility testing (axe-core) against WCAG 2.2 AA, in both light and dark mode.
• Everything can be done with a keyboard alone. Tabs move with the arrow keys, panels open and close with Escape, and focus returns to where you were.
• Controls and figures have names a screen reader can speak. Each calendar day reads out its date, projected balance and what’s due, and the balance chart has a written summary alongside it.
• All text meets contrast requirements in light and dark mode, and nothing relies on colour alone — shortfalls are also written out in words.
• Pages reflow to a narrow screen without sideways scrolling, work when zoomed to 200%, and respect your device’s reduced-motion setting.
• Swiping a panel down to close it always has a button that does the same.

Known limitations

• PDF copies made with Save as PDF are not tagged for screen readers. The app itself and the Print view carry the same information in an accessible form.
• Checkout is run by Gumroad, and its accessibility is Gumroad’s responsibility.
• Confirmation prompts (for example before deleting something) use your browser’s built-in dialogs, so they look and behave the way your device does.
