Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to information when you use BudgetMe Pro — the app at app.budgetme.pro, the downloadable copy of the app, and this website at budgetme.pro. BudgetMe Pro is made by Phoenix Milcham, LLC (“we”, “us”).

1. Your budget stays on your device

Everything you enter — balances, bills, income, spending, goals and notes — is saved in your browser’s storage on the device you’re using. It is not uploaded, synced or backed up to any server, including ours. We cannot see it, and we cannot recover it for you.

If you turn on the passcode lock, your saved budget is encrypted on your device (AES-256), using a key made from your passcode. We never receive your passcode, so if it is forgotten, the encrypted budget cannot be opened by anyone, including us.

Files you make. When you save a copy, print, make a PDF or create the “file for your AI”, the file is created on your device and goes wherever you choose to send it. Saved copies are not encrypted, so keep them somewhere you trust. If you share a file with another service — for example an AI chat app — that service’s own privacy policy applies to it.

2. What we do receive

Activation (the hosted app only). The first time you open the app at app.budgetme.pro on a device, you may be asked for your licence key. The key is sent once to our verification service at license.budgetme.pro, which asks Gumroad whether it is valid. Gumroad records that the key was used. Our service does not store your key. After a successful check, a note that the app is activated is saved on your device, and the app makes no further calls. The downloadable copy never asks for a key and never contacts us.

Your purchase. When you buy through Gumroad, Gumroad collects what it needs to take payment, under its own privacy policy. Gumroad shares your sale details with us, such as your email address, what you bought and when. We use that only to deliver the product, give support, process refunds and meet our legal and tax obligations.

Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you.

Standard web logs. The website, the app and the verification service are served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical details of each request — such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested — to deliver pages and protect against abuse. This is handled under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy. We do not use it to identify you.

3. What we don’t do

We don’t sell or rent personal information. We don’t use advertising or analytics tools. We don’t set tracking cookies. We don’t connect to your bank or pull your credit. The app and this website load no fonts, scripts or images from other companies.

Do Not Track. Because we don’t track you across sites or over time, there is nothing for a browser’s “Do Not Track” signal to switch off. We treat every visitor the same way.

4. Your choices

• Delete your budget at any time with Erase everything in the app (under Save or load), or by clearing this site’s data in your browser. Either removes it completely, because no other copy exists.
• Your purchase details are held by Gumroad and by us. To ask what we hold, correct it or delete it, email us. We may need to keep sale records where the law requires it.

5. Children

BudgetMe Pro is for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

6. Where we operate

We are based in the United States. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

7. Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change affects what we collect, we’ll say so plainly at the top.
