Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Phoenix Milcham, LLC (“we”, “us”) about BudgetMe Pro — the app at app.budgetme.pro, the downloadable copy of the app, and this website. By buying, activating or using BudgetMe Pro, you agree to these terms, to our Privacy Policy and to our Disclaimer. If you don’t agree, don’t use it.

1. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.

2. Your licence

When you buy BudgetMe Pro, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own household budgeting. Your purchase covers both the hosted app and the downloadable copy.

A licence key can be activated on a limited number of devices or browsers, as shown on the product page. You may not:

• share your licence key, or copy, publish, resell or give away the app or the downloadable file;
• remove our name, notices or these terms from it;
• use it, or its code, to build or offer a competing product or service.

Everything in BudgetMe Pro — its design, code, text and name — belongs to us and stays ours. The licence lets you use it; it doesn’t transfer ownership.

3. Your data is yours, and in your hands

Your budget is stored only on your device (see our Privacy Policy). That means:

• We cannot back it up, restore it or recover it. Clearing your browser’s data, deleting the app, losing or replacing your device, or forgetting your passcode can erase it or lock it permanently.
• Keeping it safe is up to you. Use Save a copy regularly and keep that file somewhere secure.

We are not responsible for lost, deleted or locked data.

4. Not financial advice

BudgetMe Pro is a planning tool. It is not financial, tax, legal or credit advice. Read our Disclaimer before relying on any figure it shows you.

5. Payment and refunds

Purchases are processed by Gumroad, under Gumroad’s terms. Prices are shown at checkout.

30-day refund, no questions asked. If BudgetMe Pro isn’t for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of your purchase — by emailing [email protected] or through your Gumroad receipt — and you’ll get your money back. You don’t need to give a reason. When you’re refunded, your licence ends: please stop using the app and delete any downloaded copy.

6. Updates and availability

We may improve, change or remove features. Updates to the hosted app arrive automatically; updated downloadable copies are delivered through Gumroad. We aim to keep the hosted app available but don’t promise it will always be online or free of errors, and we may discontinue it. Your downloadable copy keeps working on your device without our servers.

7. No warranty

BudgetMe Pro is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

8. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss — including overdraft charges, late fees, interest, missed payments, lost savings or lost data — arising from your use of BudgetMe Pro. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for BudgetMe Pro.

Some places don’t allow these limits, so parts of sections 7 and 8 may not apply to you.

9. Ending this agreement

You can stop using BudgetMe Pro at any time. If you break these terms, your licence ends. Sections 3, 7, 8 and 10 continue to apply after it ends.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Mississippi, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use BudgetMe Pro after a change means you accept it.
