Figures are projections, not your bank balance
BudgetMe Pro is not connected to your bank. Every balance, “safe to spend” amount, low point and forecast is calculated from the numbers and dates you type in. If a bill, paycheck or balance is missing, out of date or wrong, the forecast will be too. Banks can also hold deposits, post charges on different days or charge fees the app doesn’t know about.
Your bank’s available balance is always the real figure. Check it before you spend money you’re relying on, and update your balance in the app often.
Features that suggest a course of action
Some features show ways you might move money around. They are options to consider, not recommendations for your situation.
- Double Down shows the effect of paying a bill with a credit card and paying the card back later. Borrowing on a card can cost interest and fees, raise your credit utilization and lead to debt you can’t repay. Your card’s terms decide what it actually costs. Use it only if you are sure you can repay the card in full and on time.
- Grace windows show how long a bill might be paid late. They are general guides, not your provider’s terms. Paying after a due date can bring late fees, penalty interest, service cut-offs or a report to credit bureaus. Your agreement with each company is what counts.
- Rebalance and Pause show what happens if payments move to a different payday or a subscription stops. Moving a payment or cancelling a service is something you arrange with that company yourself.
- Taxes dates and amounts are reminders you set. They are not tax advice. Check deadlines and amounts with the IRS, your state or a tax professional.
Goals and savings
Goal dates are projections based on the paydays and amounts you enter, and estimates from logged side income are only estimates. BudgetMe Pro does not hold, move or invest any money. Savings you record stay in accounts you control, and the app does not earn you interest.
The file for your AI
The “file for your AI” describes your budget so you can ask an AI assistant questions about it. AI answers can be wrong or incomplete. Treat them as ideas to check, not advice.
